"When you look closely, no one is normal": sexuality is a very important part of our identity, it represent the so-called "gender identity." Until the sixties things were very simple: different was bad. In those year psychology's book suggested therapies for homosexual, to restore patients to normal. But what is normal? We live in a world of cities, where more than half of the population lives and works inside urban settlements, whether dense or sprawled, metropolitan or networked. In the age of metamorphosis those cities are not only a development growth machine, but bears the responsibility to generate innovative lifestyles, more sustainable. Slow Food –from the lost community to the Food Communities
BIO: President of Slow Food Italy and vice president of Friends of the University of Gastronomic Sciences
Faced with a liquid world characterized by uncertainty, insecurity, isolation, we feel the need to create social relationships and recover the lost sense of community. This, at least, is the philosophy of the great Polish sociologist Zygmunt Bauman. This is what, for almost thirty years, Slow food has been trying to do. The "food communities" became the strategic tool (as well as the location, physical and ideal) of its mission and of its radical change project. A change that start from how we eat but in the end touches every part of our lives.
The identity in the society of image

Why we are in search of an identity safe? And how they relate to our personal identities with the social identity (ethnic, religious, cultural, etc.)? Happy degrowth - Vision alternative current economy
BIO: italian essayist
The economic crisis and the ecological crisis can be overcome only by developing technological innovations that increase the efficient use of energy and raw materials. What is needed today is an evolution of the economy in the bio-economy, replacing the more the better with better knowing that you do not always identify with the most, but sometimes coincides with less.
The purpose: the economic domain of euteleia
BIO:A graduate in Pharmacy and Philosophy
Always the oikonomia is the place where the rule is of tremendous tyrannical. This consideration invalidates the idea, actually quite widespread, that economic injustice is a recent phenomenon, perhaps due to the acceleration selfish impressed over the past two centuries, from capitalism to a system of relations that before then you had so all in all satisfactory. Many scholars and critics of the free market economy have supported the real possibility of organizing economic space according to the rules of fairness and equality, without tending to the exploitation of the next but the sharing of wealth and property.
Agri-village - example of a future already present
The economic crisis we are experiencing is the crisis of a system that is no longer sustainable for the planet: we are consuming resources at a rate faster than what it takes to regenerate and people are increasingly pushed to the "conflict" or international staff to make sure these resources. How to change? To inspire us as a model for future life?
