Informal speeches, lasting 20 minutes, where the subject "liquid identities" was declined in the ways and the settings typical of the modern society.

  • The Land Art: art that celebrates nature

    Tania Talamo

    Tania Talamo

BIO: Architect, specializing in Architectural and Landscape.

What the Land Art is? What represents today? Same Case study about different works by the most significant artists of this movement as M. Herzer, W. De Maria, R. Smithson, Christo, il Grande Cretto di Alberto Burri a Gibellina.

  • Mr Savethewall. From wall to paper

    Mr Savethewall

    BIO: Unconventional Artist

In this intervention the artist recounts the genesis of his artistic work, by highlighting the eccentricity of the urban language he use. Mr. Savethewall decided to paint his idea on cardboard temporarily scotch taped to the wall. Coherent with an artistic vision of respect and recycling, he mainly use objects he can find in the streets, like cardboard, recycled materials etc.

By doing this the attention is focused on the message, not in the act of "painting on a wall".

  • Liquid Art

    RobertoCastello Roberto Castello

    BIO: Dance performer.

When did art change it's function and started to be an elite issue; when art became more about head than emotion; what is this kind of misunderstanding about art for shall we really talk about art?

  • Liquid sex– when you look closely, no one is normal

    Roberto Vincenzi

    Roberto Vincenzi

    BIO: Professor of Psychotherapy

"When you look closely, no one is normal": sexuality is a very important part of our identity, it represent the so-called "gender identity." Until the sixties things were very simple: different was bad. In those year psychology's book suggested therapies for homosexual, to restore patients to normal. But what is normal? LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender), is now a word used in medical book, a word that describe a much more complex reality: today's reality.

  • Rethinking the city

    Maurizio Carta

    Maurizio Carta

BIO: Architect and professor of urbanism and regional planning at the Department of Architecture of the University of Palermo

We live in a world of cities, where more than half of the population lives and works inside urban settlements, whether dense or sprawled, metropolitan or networked. In the age of metamorphosis those cities are not only a development growth machine, but bears the responsibility to generate innovative lifestyles, more sustainable. To reconsider our way of thinking the future we need to start imagining urbanism so that we can project the cities in the metamorphosis era.

  • Slow Food –from the lost community to the Food Communities

    Roberto Burdese

    Roberto Burdese

BIO: President of Slow Food Italy and vice president of Friends of the University of Gastronomic Sciences

Faced with a liquid world characterized by uncertainty, insecurity, isolation, we feel the need to create social relationships and recover the lost sense of community. This, at least, is the philosophy of the great Polish sociologist Zygmunt Bauman. This is what, for almost thirty years, Slow food has been trying to do. The "food communities" became the strategic tool (as well as the location, physical and ideal) of its mission and of its radical change project. A change that start from how we eat but in the end touches every part of our lives.

  • The identity in the society of image

    Eleonora Fiorani

    Eleonora Fiorani

BIO: Professor of anthropology at the Polytechnic of Milan and at the Semiotics at the European Institute of Design

In a society characterized by images and communications, the identities are always changing. Today, searching for what the identity hide and what it shows us, we are not sure of where it ends and where it begins. And through the eyes of the other we are faced with the otherness in us.

  • Music and change

    Mauro ScardovelliMaurizio Scardovelli

BIO: Music therapist, psychologist and psychotherapist

Can the music help the human being to recover own identity, altered by the flow of modern age, and answer to the existential question typical of human sensibility?

  • Fluidentity

    Duccio CanestriniDuccio Canestrini

BIO: anthropologist of tourism in the Bachelor of Science of tourism in the University of Pisa. Writer and academic lecturer

Why we are in search of an identity safe? And how they relate to our personal identities with the social identity (ethnic, religious, cultural, etc.)? The so-called precarious existence stimulates reflections. While the guarantees in the world dissolve, we build confidence in ourselves prosthesis: memberships, consumption, cultural models which adapt. But creative ideas and alternatives. The conference show is a mix of reasoning and fun, with music, videos, commercials and cartoons.

  • Happy degrowth - Vision alternative current economy

    Maurizio PallanteMaurizio Pallante

    BIO: italian essayist

The economic crisis and the ecological crisis can be overcome only by developing technological innovations that increase the efficient use of energy and raw materials. What is needed today is an evolution of the economy in the bio-economy, replacing the more the better with better knowing that you do not always identify with the most, but sometimes coincides with less.

  • The purpose: the economic domain of euteleia

    Alessandro PertosaAlessandro Pertosa

BIO:A graduate in Pharmacy and Philosophy

Always the oikonomia is the place where the rule is of tremendous tyrannical. This consideration invalidates the idea, actually quite widespread, that economic injustice is a recent phenomenon, perhaps due to the acceleration selfish impressed over the past two centuries, from capitalism to a system of relations that before then you had so all in all satisfactory. Many scholars and critics of the free market economy have supported the real possibility of organizing economic space according to the rules of fairness and equality, without tending to the exploitation of the next but the sharing of wealth and property.

  • Agri-village - example of a future already present

    Giovanni LeoniGiovanni Leoni

    BIO: Farmer.

The economic crisis we are experiencing is the crisis of a system that is no longer sustainable for the planet: we are consuming resources at a rate faster than what it takes to regenerate and people are increasingly pushed to the "conflict" or international staff to make sure these resources. How to change? To inspire us as a model for future life?
